Summary
Project Coordinator to assist the Project Managers in the successful management of project submittals, project file, closeout documents and permitting.

Abbreviated Responsibilities

  • Research municipalities to submit and monitor permits and inspections
  • Ensure each Superintendent has the tools it needs to meet the project milestones.
  • Providing information and regular support to Project Managers
  • Research vendors obtain quotes and work alongside of finance for payment process.
  • Thorough project documentation
  • Creating and reviewing of reports (project tracking and accounting)
  • Work with Field personnel to handle project issues as they arise
  • Knowledge of industry best practices; primarily relative to administrative support.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Summary
As the Project Manager, you are solely responsible for all aspects of the project. Bidding, communicating a scope of work, staying in constant communication with the Client, tracking change orders, getting them approved, getting paid, closing out the job, managing the punch list.

  • Provide on-site coordination for all phases of commercial construction projects to include coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment.
  • Ensure that specifications are being strictly followed and work is proceeding on schedule.
  • Responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safety.
  • Schedule subcontractors and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate with project team (submittals and request for information)
  • Coordinate required inspections
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
  • Maintain daily log of activities on the jobsite through our cloud-based construction software
  • Attend weekly progress meetings with owner, architect, and other key personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ensure that the day-to-day coordination of carpenters and contractors turns out high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule.
  • Obtain or verify that the subcontractors obtain all necessary permits for construction purposes
  • Verify safety compliance with all trades
  • Lead contractor meetings on a regular basis
  • Create, manage, and update the project schedule
  • Communicate schedule status, updates, and changes
  • Plan, coordinate and manage job site logistics
  • Oversee project quality plan and implement necessary changes
